This is my route through Eastern and Southern Africa. I covered just about every form of transport, besides bicycle: car, overland truck, minibus, land rover, horse, swim, hike, run, plane (multiple sizes). The whole journey took 11 weeks, from my start in Uganda (3 weeks) to the start of the overland trip (6 weeks + 2 weeks in Cape Town) to when I left Johannesburg. I would have loved to stay in certain places longer, and if doing it again I’d fly over some sections (like southern Tanzania and northern Zambia..). Overall, well and truly the trip and experience of a lifetime. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

You are amazing!! I have loved following all of your adventures.
Well, Anna, you’ve got me beaten by a country mile/kilometer with all the African travel. I have YET to make it to that continent. I don’t see the flags for Zimbabwe, however, and I do know you made it there, too.
It’s there! It’s under the water icon–for Victoria Falls!
